My family, like many, always loved to exchange gifts over Christmas. As our family grew larger, we struggled to come up with new ways to give these gifts other than simply drawing out of a hat. That’s when we discovered a RIGHT/LEFT gift exchange game that changed everything!
This exciting game was titled, “Twas the Night Before Christmas Gift Exchange Game” and simply involved the entire family forming a circle holding the gift they brought. One person read a story based on “Twas the Night Before Christmas” which was jammed packed with the words “RIGHT” and “LEFT”. Every time you heard “RIGHT” and “LEFT” in the story, you’d quickly pass the gift in that direction. Everyone was always laughing throughout the story and ended up with a unique gift. This fun game brought us all together in one large group activity that included both the kids and adults. It is now our new family tradition, and we all look forward to playing it each year.
To be honest, this game is perfect for any Christmas social gatherings such as work events as well!
