How To Use Vaseline To Distress Furniture
The art of wood decorating is more difficult than you think. The biggest problem is the fashion of having older looking wood without it actually being older. Many people want it brand new but have it be accented. So this tutorial uses Vaseline to help distress wood.
It will cover the parts that won’t be cured and therefore look quite distressed. This is usually done to wood were you want the edges to look faded but the main face to be clear and looking amazing. This is a fun DIY to do and it’s not hard to do either. I made a wall hanging with faded edges in one day and still had time for everything else.
