Spiced Apple Cupcakes With Maple Frosting

This is an autumn-inspired cupcake. It certainly TASTES like autumn too! I just love baking cupcakes when the weather has that crisp, cool breeze and I have to wear a house coat and socks to keep warm.
These cupcakes are delicious and moist. Very moist. I would recommend baking them a bit longer than what the recipe calls for only because having three cups of apple can cause them to be a bit mushy.
