Repurposing Antique Windows into a Greenhouse
“Once the ‘box’ was built, we hinged four windows across the top that open and close for access. We also ran a water line down to my shop and attached a hose, which makes it very convenient to water my seedlings.”
Now you, too, can build a greenhouse quickly and efficiently and get your little seedlings started earlier. If you or a neighbor have some old windows just laying around, this will be a fairly cheap project as well. Don’t worry if you have to replace a pane of glass or two. They don’t cost much either. The best part of this project is that you can just adjust to whatever size windows you have. Sounds easy enough, right?
