Now Is The Time To Be Pruning Raspberries!
“My preferred time for pruning everbearing raspberries is in the spring, just as the new growth is emerging from the ground. This has the advantage of allowing you to see where new canes are going to be growing this year and allows you to thin entire plants when necessary I also like the spring because I always seem to have more time in the spring to get the pruning done.”
Much of the country is still pretty chilly to be planting seeds, but if you can’t wait to get working in the garden, you can still be productive by pruning your raspberries.
