“To kick off my herb garden, I went out thrifting and found exactly what I was looking for: beat up, old rusty muffin pans! I figured they would be the perfect thing to use for germinating herb plants- shallow, compartmentalized, and easy to work with. And it should come as no surprise that I decided to spray paint the muffin pans…because, well, why not?”
What a great way to start herbs or other seedlings inside and get them strong and healthy before their big move outside. I think the baking cups can just be planted directly into the ground when transplanting, making this project easier yet.
