How To Tell If A Pallet Is Safe For Reuse

I have for many years now been sharing DIY articles on how to build things with pallets. For all of those years I have had hundreds if not thousands of comments / concerns on which kind of pallet wood to use.

I say that because there are a few kinds of pallets, ones which have been chemically treated and ones that have not. Obviously (I do state this on every article too) you need to use heat treated pallets and not the chemically treated ones.
