Did you know, you can make shoes by quilting? When I first heard this I thought it was a joke. However there at the farmers market a weekend latter was a stand full of quilted item and the slippers were right there. I checked them out online and saw how easy it is. The real trick is getting the image on the top portion of the foot, that takes practice.

I showed my aunt and two cousins this idea and they went bonkers. They found quilt patterns of Disney characters and other entertainment icons and started to make these slippers by the boat load. They absolutely love them.
