My uncle is a mechanic, therefore, he has an abundant supply of old tires. Recently, I have been upcycling them in different projects, such as making child play equipment and cute lawn ornaments. There have been several projects I’ve seen that involve painting the tire and using it as a planter.
However, I never thought the ideas were my style. Then I came across this perfect planter, in the link below. Instead of having paint on it, which could eventually fade or chip, it uses rope to create a different texture and design. Plus, you could even use this idea for an outdoor seat or side table.
