If you are lucky enough to own chickens over the years you may know exactly what I am talking about when I say that pretty much all chicken tractors have a gap at the bottom because the ground is uneven due to the gradient or roots from trees etc.

Well, if you leave that gap as is your younger  chickens may crawl / dig under and escape or even worse, a critter can get in and kill all of your flock. This simple solution is a great ideas and actually works really well, so if you have a chicken tractor make this a priority, it only costs a few bucks and could save you a lot of hassle later on down the road.
