I have lived in the country for a fair number of years now and not once heard about back to eden gardening. I watched a documentary on it and was blown away by how awesome and belive it or not… easy it was to do.
In layman’s terms, a back to garden is a no till gardening method where you keep adding layers of wood chips, compost and soil. As the years go on, the soil gets more and more fertile.
Weeding is lessened and this style of gardening can help reduce watering too. Sounds crazy but it’s true. This is a no-dig, no-till organic gardening method that results in rich, fluffy soil with very little work from the gardener. This is my kind of gardening.
