Homemade Sweet Potato Chews Dog Treats

Your dog is probably your best friend right? My 3 dogs are my best friends and I love to reward them with treats every now and again. The trouble with store bought dog treats is that they contain additives and crap I quite frankly don’t want in my dogs.

I found a healthier, cheaper and more super easy to make dog treat. These are an excellent, healthy alternative to rawhides. I used to buy my dogs “veggie rawhides” made out of sweet potatoes and they cost about $10 for a 1 pound package. I did some price checking and I couldn’t believe that a 2 pound bag of sweet potatoes only cost $1.69 at the local grocery store.
