I’ve always enjoyed the homey feel of a welcome mat, but you can never see it unless you are looking down. I wanted to bring my guests’ eyes up and then I came across this project.
It’s a very simple design, yet it really makes the house look inviting and cozy; just how I want my guests to feel! Plus, what could be better than using reclaimed wood?
Check out the tutorial in the link below. Instead of writing “welcome”, you could also write your last name on it or your home’s address number. You could even make several different ones with seasonal sayings on it for an entire year’s worth of creative signs!
