There are TWO reasons that I finally ended up in this recipe:

#1 Its a one-bowl recipe.

#2 It uses whole eggs, not 8 egg yolks.

Oh, and one more… it’s the BEST!

We took a gamble making this cake for my sons birthday cake this weekend, we actually forgot to order one so we had to make one. We are so happy we made this recipe! The cake is so delicious. It is way better than a box cake and can be stored for months in a mason jar.
