4. A Drill Guide for Straight Holes
When a job requires perfectly straight holes, drilling by hand won’t cut it. If you have a drill press, then you’re all set. But for everyone else, there are drill guides. Attach your drill directly to the guide, insert a bit, then plunge the drill down for an accurate hole. Most guides let you drill at angles up to 45 degrees. The portable guides make it quick and easy to drill holes into almost any material, including large pieces of wood that are a struggle to get into a drill press. They cost about $27.
